I have to admit that when it came to looking for wedding program templates, I didn’t. I used my computer and some nice paper and made my own. I think that they tuned out okay, but if I had it over to do again, I think I would go with something a little more sophisticated. I took a regular sized piece of paper and cut it down the middle lengthwise. I then printed my program details, rolled them up and put them inside a costume wedding band. It added a special touch and I honestly think that is what really counts when choosing a wedding program template.
So where should you start looking for ideas?
In doing a search to find the best wedding program templates, I came across many free ones online by just doing a Google search. Some of the sites required memberships which were mostly free.
What I found is that while you can use the templates provided, it really just gives you some good ideas as to how you want to make your programs elegant, special, and unique. As with everything you have encountered with your wedding plans so far, it depends how much time and/or money you want to invest.
If you have time, and want to add that special and personal touch to you wedding then you can make them yourself. With scrapbooking such a popular hobby, you can find an amazing amount of ideas at places such as Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or your local scrapbooking place. You should be able to find and match your wedding colors nicely, add embelishments easily, and keep it within you budget.
If you have more money than time, then looking through bridal magazines, visiting popular online stores such as The Knot Wedding Shop, or visiting your local bridal shop will provide you with professional printed programs that will fit your taste.
Finding a free wedding program template should be fun and easy, unless you are just choosing from a book and ordering, finding a template that you can copy should not cost any money. And anyway, it isn’t all about the money all of the time. It should be that added special touch that will make the ceremony not only special for you and your fiance, but for your guests as well.
